About the Team
The 16-under Hurricanes placed 9th in the 2003 15U Division I, AAU National Tournament and 1st in the Maryland State Association in the 15U age group. Coaches Donald Beasley and Juan Baker have coached the team to four state titles (2004, 2003, 2001, 2000), and one national title. The team is comprised of Washington Post/Baltimore Sun All Metro/All County/and All League players from Anne Arundel, Baltimore, Howard, Prince George's, and Harford Counties. Represented high schools include 2004 4A State Champion Arundel High School; 2004 USA Today nationally ranked Riverdale Baptist; Maryland East Region finalist South River; Howard County championship finalist Long Reach; IAAM B finalist St Paul; and perennial powerhouses Glenelg, Archbishop Spalding, Catonsville, Centennial, Fallston and Meade High Schools.
